Join us for LGBTQIA+ Ally Training, an interactive and engaging workshop designed for students, faculty, and staff who want to create a more inclusive, affirming, and supportive campus community at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ.
This training will provide participants with foundational knowledge about sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression, while addressing common myths, terminology, and best practices for allyship. Through discussion, reflection, and real-world scenarios, attendees will learn how to:
- Use inclusive language and pronouns respectfully
- Respond effectively to bias or discriminatory behavior
- Support students and colleagues who come out
- Understand the unique challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals in higher education
- Serve as visible, informed allies within the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ community
Whether you are just beginning your learning journey or looking to deepen your understanding, this training offers practical tools and meaningful dialogue to help foster belonging, dignity, and respect for all.
Together, we can continue building a campus environment where every Hawk feels seen, valued, and supported.
