Dr. Meghan P. Nolan started the Word of Mouth reading series in a little venue called Bluestockings Bookstore on the Lower East Side of Manhattan 2006, and it has existed in one form or other throughout the years. This reading series has always remained dedicated to poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction as a way to share the human experience.

The Rockland County Poet Laureate Juan Pablo Mobili serves as an ambassador for the literary arts, engaging audiences throughout Rockland County and beyond through public readings, civic events, and educational activities.
