A new pilot program in Rockland County is enriching the lives of people with special needs. Project Elevate is a new community class teaching vocational life skills to people with special needs. The two-week program at ؛¬ذك²فتسئµ includes courses on fitness, first aid, cooking and cellphones. “It’s a wonderful experience — lots of happy faces. We’re so happy to be here at Rockland County Community College, and we’re looking forward to our session in August,” said Christina Bertocchi, of Project Elevate.
