New initiative covers tuition, fees, books, and supplies for New Yorkers aged 25 – 55 seeking high-demand careers.
(SUFFERN, NY) June 16, 2025 – Starting this Fall, º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ (º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ) will offer free tuition for eligible adults through , a new initiative designed to help more New Yorkers earn a college degree.
SUNY Reconnect is available to New York residents between the ages of 25 and 55 who have not previously completed a college degree and who enroll in full-time or part-time associate degree programs in high demand fields.
Eligible º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ programs include:
- Automotive Technology
- Cyber Security
- Education (Adolescent, Childhood, or Early Childhood)
- Engineering Science
- Environmental Science
- Healthcare Science
- Information Technology
- Math and Computer Science
- Nursing
- Occupational Therapy Assistant
