New Student Orientation

º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµâ€™s New Student Orientation is an invaluable experience for all first-year students, regardless of academic affiliation or program of study. Orientation will provide you with the opportunity to become familiar with campus resources, learn about distinguished program offerings, and interact with current students, faculty, and staff before beginning classes.

All new students are expected to complete Orientation.

Sign up for New Student Orientation to learn about the College and finalize your pre-registered class schedule with an advisor. Be sure to fill out your forms before the date of your orientation, so you can be properly registered for your classes.

**Those who do not attend New Student Orientation will be withdrawn from their pre-registered schedule of classes that was made upon completing the  forms ²¹²Ô»åÌý.

Virtual New Student Orientation

Were you unable to make one of our In-Person New Student Orientations? No problem, Virtual NSO is now available!

Before you start the Virtual New Student Orientation, be sure to activate your myº¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ account, username and password. You will need to use your myº¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ account information to access the Orientation online.

In addition to completing your Virtual Student Orientation, here are additional steps you should take to successfully register and start at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ!

We are bound by federal law — the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) — to protect student privacy. We cannot violate confidentiality or provide information that violates this law, which protects the privacy of student educational records and gives students (over the age of 18 years or attending an institution of higher education) the right to access and correct their records. In addition, information contained in the educational records, beyond directory information, cannot be shared without the student’s written consent.

Many students are eligible for financial aid and all students are encouraged to apply for funds to help them meet the cost of higher education. Funds are generally available for those who demonstrate financial need. Please visit our Financial Aid page for more information.

At º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ, students are provided with a specialized Student Success Team that will help with your student’s academic journey, career exploration, transfer planning, support service referrals, etc. In addition, º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ provides students with free tutoring services, which includes the Tutoring & Science Learning Center and The Reading and Writing Center (RWC).

Career Readiness and Success Center at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ assists students with connecting them to part-time or full-time employment on or off campus.

Accessibility Services works collaboratively with the College community to facilitate equal access for students with disabilities to the educational programs, services and facilities of º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ.
