New International Student Orientation
International Student Services welcomes new international students each fall and spring semester and offers New International Student Orientation to provide students with the guidance they need to start their education here at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ.

International Education Month
Each November, º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ celebrates International Education Week with a month filled of activities and workshops to help promote the benefits of international education. Events in the past have included:
- International Performance Showcase
- International Fall Ball
- Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) workshop
- International Film screenings
- International Food demonstrations
Off-Campus Employment Workshops
Workshops explaining off campus employment opportunities for F1 students through Optional Practical Training (OPT) and Curricular Practical Training (CPT) are offered each semester.
Career Readiness and Success also offers workshops to students to help prepare their resumes, interview skills, job searching, etc.
Mental Health Workshops
International Student Services and the Counseling team up to host various workshops throughout the year to help international students manage culture shock and other stress factors they may encounter while studying here at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ and in a new country.
The Connection Center also provides workshops and discussion groups throughout the year, open to all º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ students.
Clubs and Organizations:
On-Campus Clubs
º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ has about 50 active clubs each semester that students can participate in. Some of those clubs are internationally focused and have also been created by our international students, including:
- International Club
- Japanese Language Club
- Haitian Club
- Muslim Student Association

One to World
º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ are proud members of One to World (OTW), a New York based organization that offers special programs to international students residing in the New York City area. º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ students are able to participate in the various programs offered by OTW, allowing them a chance to explore the NYC area and meet international students and scholars attending other area Colleges.

Academic Support:
The Academic Success Centers (ASC) provide free academic support to all º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ students. This includes the Tutoring & Science Learning Center,ÌýTesting Center,Ìýand Reading and Writing Center.
